How to Transfer a .pk Domain

The domain owner or current domain registrant can transfer a domain from one account to another by providing tha written authority letter on their letterhead under their offical seal. Only domain owner or current domain registrant can apply for the domain transfer not their technical contact or agent. If the domain owner is Pakistani national, then he will have to provide a copy of the company head or director. In the authority letter also specify from which account you want to transfer the domain and the account to which you want your domain to be transferred. If the name of the registrant does not match completely or partially with the officially used emblem that is the name on the company letterhead then you will need to submit an affidavit if the proper format along with the authority letter. The affidavit must be attested by the oath commissioner and should meet the legal requirements such as stamp paper of worth 100 Rupees. From PKNIC official website you can get a copy of the Sample Affidavit format which is required for Domain transfer if you have owner mismatch.

If the domain registrant does not own a company and is an individual then an affidavit in the proper format will be needed. This affidavit should be attested by the oath commissioner and must meet the legal requirements such as stamp paper of worth Rupees 100. From PKNIC registry website you can download the sample Affidavit required for Individual owner domain transfer.

Email verification: In a verification email the current domain owner or his agent will be asked to agree to the transfer and the account in which the domain is requested to be transferred will be asked to accept the incoming domain. A domain from one account to another can only be transferred on proving the authorization and providing the documents required for transfer of pk domain.

Unlocked Registrant Information

PKNIC by default has locked the PK Domain Registrant information to prevent unauthorized transfer of PK Domains.

How to Unlock .pk Domain Registrant information
